Overview “No pressure tours”

This is an experience of hiking, ascending and descending of about 250m high Boti hill, a beautiful mountain drive to the historic botanical garden where important plants and their medicinal and scientific uses are studied. You will also have the opportunity to see some trees planted by world leaders who visited the country, Ghana. With an experience instructor and all safety talks and gears provided we embark on a coolest off-grid tour through the rainforest on quad bikes. A great way to combine sightseeing with adventure. Suitable for both beginners and experienced riders.

We will tour and study the history of the twin waterfall in Ghana and the mysterious rock that looks like an umbrella. There is also an opportunity to see the unique three headed palm tree.

Tour Highlights

• Quad Biking, great way to combine exploring of the hilly region with a jungle adventure. This is appropriate for both beginners and experienced riders. This is not recommended for travelers with back problems and pregnant travelers.
• Boti Water Fall:  This Water Fall is made up of the upper falls and the lower falls which the inhabitants describe as male and female.
• The Umbrella Rock — It is a mysterious rock that looks like an umbrella. One can climb it to enjoy the beautiful forest that lays beyond it. Prepare for hiking through the rainforest before one gets to this adventure.

• Volta Lake –is one of the largest man-made lakes in the world. It is Ghana’s main hydro-power plant. Take a tour of the upper part of the dam and take in the breathtaking view of the area in a Boat Cruise. The Boat Cruise offers contemporary and Ghanaian highlife music sessions.

• Shai Hills Forest Reserve – is rich in wildlife and history. As one explores the caves, they have an opportunity to view spot monkeys, antelopes, and birds during a guided safari and beautiful landscapes.  Popular activities include game viewing, bird watching, nature walking, and rock climbing.

• Aburi Botanical Garden—is a popular destination for flora lovers and bird watchers. Visitors will find various endangered species of plants, and are exposed to different botanical and local names for different species and their medicinal purposes to the locals. Tourist also have the opportunity to see some trees planted by world leaders who visited the country.
