• A visit to the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park and Mausoleum. It is the final resting place of the first president of Ghana and his wife. He was the who fought for Gold Coast (Ghana) from Colonial rule. The museum houses the personal belongings and publications of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah at various stages of his life from childhood to his political life till his overthrow and death. There are some pictures and videos showing his life history with some famous personalities across the world. The premise was where Kwame Nkrumah stood to declare Ghana’s independent.
• The Black Star Square which has the Independence Arch , the Liberation Day Monument and the Black Star Gate. This is also known as the Independence Square. It was built by Dr. Kwame Nkrumah to commemorate Ghana’s independence as a mark of national unity and self-reliance and commissioned during the visit of Queen Elizabeth II to Ghana in 1961.
• We will drive through the principal street of Osu Oxford Street to E.B Dubois Center the former residence and the final resting place of Dr. W.E.B DuBois, the father of Pan-Africanism. Both Dr. WEB DuBois and his wife Shirley Graham DuBois are entombed on the grounds here.
